As part of the KUNO program, I participated in a workshop about the border in Lithuania. The outcome of the workshop was a group exhibition, where we were invited to present an artwork at the Mažoji Galerija in Druskininkai, a town located near the border with Belarus. For my piece, which was connected to my ongoing project Bare Life, I framed bird excrement found around the gallery. Interestingly, passersby began avoiding stepping on the framed droppings—simply because they were framed. This experiment revealed how anything placed within a frame can acquire the aura of art.
